Stanley Sloan helps businesses achieve excellence by addressing the people issues that significantly impact profitable growth. Sloan provides consulting services in change management, organization effectiveness, performance improvement, and reward management. He advises boards and top officers in policy decisions necessary to achieve success through employees, and guides clients in how to energize their work force to produce the results necessary for competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Dr. Sloan had over 25 years of management consulting experience and has served over 100 clients in all major sectors of the economy. he focuses on aligning "people" strategies with business objectives and priorities. This experience covers the full spectrum of human resource services, including a wide variety of human resource audits and assessments, attitude and business culture surveys. Other services include the design of total remuneration plans, incentives, and executive and employee benefits, job classification and measurement. He also had conducted, and provided such services as competency-based performance management, selection, training and development. He is experienced in managing large, complex assignments involving the integration of multiple services, resources and consultant staff.
Prior experience includes serving as senior consultant for an international management consulting firm, and a position as the top human resource officer for a major international NYSE firm. His Ph.D. is in industrial relations from the University of Wisconsin. As a certified management consultant (CMC), he is active in the Institute of Management Consultants, where he has previously served as President and Chairman of the Atlanta Chapter, and retains an active role with the current board of directors.
Dr. Sloan is a well-published author on organizational effectiveness, compensation and human resource trends and issues. He regularly serves as guest lecturer, conference leader, and officer and /or board member of professional and community organizations and agencies. He has served on the faculty of the University of Georgia, teaching graduate students about personnel issues and trends in change management. He currently serves as a board member for the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State University's College of Business.
